Contestation with GOD
WHY DO YOU CONTEST WITH YOUR CREATOR?
To contest is to oppose, refuse, contradict,
object, put in to question, doubt, dispute.
Man is a creature of GOD. We are clay and
GOD is potter (Jeremiah 18, 1 to 10). The life
of men depends on GOD. GOD is sovereign
in his decisions: it is he that has chose the date and the place of your birth, your race, your nationality , your height etc... No court can judge him. He has authority on all human beings, whether they are rich, povr, kings or slaves. GOD can do all what he wants to you: take away the breath of life or prolong your days. Man is only breath and shadow; Psalm 39, 5 to 7: “Behold, thou hast made my days as an hand breath; and mine age is as nothing before thee; Verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity . (Selah?). Surely every man walheth in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heaped up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee”.
